  2. First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d
    like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find
    out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
    I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
    I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are
    generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how

  3. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
    My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself
    or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission.

    Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being ripped off?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.

    • Hi, I understand your frustration and it remains a problem allover. However, have you eve shared any of your own content on any social media site that has “share” buttons on, with the intention of keeping it on your site or to yourself alone? Have you ever share anything on a social media site that you didn’t author? The harsh reality is that the moment you signed up on any social media site, whether it be Facebook, for personal use, or whatever other site, you are bound to share stuff. Otherwise, you are defeating the object of sharing or collaboration or even marketing for that matter. It is difficult to draw the line. I hope you don’t get easily offended, but if you don’t want to share anything, get off the internet. That’s what I would do. Otherwise, that photo you shared on Facebook, or that link you shared to all your twitter buddies, or even that pic you shared using BBM or WhatsApp have just made you a criminal.

      From your comment I derive that you are an author of content. This content captures and defines your personal brand, who you are in a specific industry, and in the world for that matter. Building your brand without you or your connections sharing your content, is pointless. I would suggest you capture your content in Jpeg format (similar to an infographic) with a specific section somewhere where you mention YOURSELF as the author; even put a picture of your face there together with an email address. This will get the industry to get to know you, and always return to you if they need more information on your content whilst you get others to spread your content. Does this make sense? I hope so. Now, start branding YOU!

    • Hi, now you are making me worry…No, just joking. The cloud is fairly safe and I don’t have content that I won’t lose. The best advice i can give you is to store your content in other places online as well. “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” as the quote says. I mostly use infographics which are in JPG format, so I pin them in Pinterest as well..

    title? I am not saying your content is not solid, however what if you added a post title that grabbed people’s attention?
    I mean What Social Media means for Your Marketing | The Social Media Professional is a little vanilla.

    You ought to glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create post titles to get viewers
    interested. You might add a related video or a picture or two to get
    readers interested about what you’ve written. Just my opinion,
